International Trade Regulation
The firm represents clients in all types of administrative and judicial proceedings involving international trade laws. These include antidumping and countervailing duty investigations conducted under Title VII of the Tariff Act of 1930; “escape clause” proceedings under Section 201 of the Trade Act; “market disruption” proceedings under Section 406 of the Trade Act; “unfair trade practices” litigation under Section 337 of the Tariff Act; and “market access” and “retaliation” proceedings under Section 301 of the Trade Act. The firm also represents companies in administrative and judicial proceedings involving the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), the Caribbean Basin Initiative (CBI), the United States-Canada Free Trade Agreement (FTA), the United States-Israel Free Trade Area Agreement (FTAA), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and other trade and tariff regimes.
